OTTAWA, Ontario — General Dynamics will showcase products and capabilities responsive to Canada's national security and defence communities at CANSEC 2013, May 29-30, at the Ernst & Young Centre in Ottawa. Exhibit highlights include:

General Dynamics Canada will showcase its core-to-edge capabilities suited to military, first responder and industrial operations in harsh environments. On display will be ruggedized platform products and software applications related to command and control, decision support and cyber security.

The company will feature its latest products for detecting underwater threats, including VENOM, a small form factor Acoustic Processing System, and ECLIPSE, an adjunct processor to be used to enhance in-service AN/SQS-510 sonar systems. The Tactical Integrated Sensor Information System (TISIS), based on the Integrated Management System for the Aurora Incremental Modernization Program and the CH 148 Maritime Helicopter Project, will also be on display.

General Dynamics C4 Systems will highlight its secure voice and data products including the TACLANE-1G low-profile, rugged network encryptor, MultiBook secure laptop and the new GD Protected software. The GD Protected family of software solutions secures commercial smartphones, tablets and their applications, enabling secure access to restricted and open networks for data, talk, text and video conference using commercial handheld devices.

General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada will display Canada's newest light armoured vehicle - LAV III UP. The LAV III UP will provide the Canadian Army with enhanced survivability, operational capability and long-term performance. It will deliver to the Canadian soldier the latest in armoured vehicle technology. Also on display will be the Bronco 3 New-Gen Marginal Terrain Vehicle, the evolution of the combat-proven Bronco 2 Warthog designed on a modular concept to offer a full spectrum of capabilities. Rounding out the vehicle presentations will be a model of the Ocelot Light Patrol Vehicle.

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems - Canada will showcase a variety of small-, medium- and large-caliber ammunition from 5.56mm to 155mm artillery projectiles. Its Simunition FX training will be highlighted, a non-lethal training product including FX® Marking cartridges, conversion kits and protective equipment for use in force-on-force training.
